SAE were proud to play their part in a huge effort to deliver Food Aid Packages to those in need.

Recently boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, along with his family, visited the Blenheim Children’s Centre in Southend to support the Yianis Christodoulou foundation as they delivered food and educational packages to vulnerable children in the local area.

Parcels containing food, household essentials, colouring books and crayons were safely delivered by SAE and met by the Essex-born promoter in activity arranged by The Yianis Christodoulou Foundation. These were then hand-delivered to the Children’s centre.  With the effects of Covid-19 on local livelihoods at the forefront of the efforts, these were very gratefully received.

SAE driver James, or Jinx as he is known to his SAE family, certainly helped bring all the luck as he helped the team unload the boxes and make sure they

Jinx said “I was really chuffed I could be part of such an amazing project.  We deliver all sorts of items all over the country but knowing what a difference this particular load was going to make at such a challenging time for everyone made it a really special job. It was fantastic to meet Eddie and the rest of the team and to see the incredible work they do.”

We are pleased to announce that The Yianis Christodoulou Foundation has now successfully delivered 75,000 food packages to people in need and to the hard working health professionals in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The food packages were delivered throughout the United Kingdom, Cyprus and Thailand. Well done to all the team involved that made this happen.
