Whilst January is often plagued by the blues, SAE helped local community School Maple Cross JMI imagine sunnier times, as they presented 5 new picnic benches donated in lieu of client gifts at Christmas.

The SAE distinctive van, pulled up onto the school site, and the intrepid management and office team unloaded the brand new picnic benches and placed them where instructed (we always do what the teacher say’s ! ) – much to the delight of on looking children and staff.

Spending time outside is important for emotional and physical wellbeing. Having consulted closely with the Head Teacher, SAE’s donation was designed to continue to promote and encourage the children’s’ use of the school’s outdoor space, both for recreational and lesson time.

These benches would be able to be used by all the children – including the pre-school and after-school clubs in the surroundings of their new woodland area – which is maturing nicely in the months since the new trees were presented and planted by SAE in early 2019.

Despite the weather, the school has already reported that the benches are being well used, as well as taking to their own social media and news platforms to share their delight in the new benches. The team were proud to be able to help continue the great connection with the local school with the provision of much needed resources.

Managing Director, Richard Bousfield said “As before, we wanted to donate something meaningful that would be long lasting and provide benefit to the whole school for years to come.  It is important to us that we donate and provide things that children, both current and future, will enjoy and benefit from. We are great believers in supporting and encouraging education in every possible way.

We know that the benches will be a great addition to the school for educational and recreational use. SAE are very happy to support our local community and of course help and encourage future generations. Of course, before setting off to get back to important logistics related tasks, the team took a rest … I mean tested the benches … for safety purposes of course!
